Copthorne Hotel Cameron Highlands (formerly known as Equatorial Cameron Highlands) Guest Reviews (90)

Copthorne Hotel Cameron Highlands (formerly known as Equatorial Cameron Highlands)
3 out of 5

Staffs were wonderful, front desk staff made arrangement for my family to check in as early as 10am while the official check in time is around 2pm. She empathized that we travelled with one baby and one toddler and needed to settle down after a long trip from Singapore. Room was not fantastic, bare minimum and a bit run down. The room rate I paid include complimentary wifi access but I can't get any wifi signal in my room or even at the corridor. Was told poor coverage due to renovation. Has 2 meals in the hotal restaurant. Average spread. Check Out process was swift.

Good location and nice view, room condition is good too after renovation. And is very near Kea Farm.

I thought supposed to be a 4/5 star hotel but we didn't feel the luxury and comfort of such. The room looks tired, overall we are very dissapointed with the rooms & services.

Hotel could consider installing fans in rooms on the lower levels as Cameron Highlands is not as cool as it used to be. Otherwise on the whole, it was a pleasant stay.

The hotel rooms are clean and neat. Good customer service. On that day, the rain fell throughout the night, fortunetly it provided facilities for kids & adult like swimming pool and games, so it won't feel bore and can spend our holiday in the hotel.

The hotel staff couldn't provide good customer service to us for our request on hotel room change due to some emergency, until the manager appeared and solved our issue, but our mood has been spoilt for this. The customer service is really needed to improve for the receptionist.

Very basic furnishing for the price. Only good thing is the 2-bedroom apartment we had on the top floor which has a huge open balcony and a fantastic view.

Even though the hotel had been renovated recently, there are signs of age everywhere. Switches don't work, crack on walls etc. At least they are clean. Staff are courteous. Food quality is acceptable, though I would choose to eat elsewhere if possible.

Relaxing holiday destination for the whole family. Nice weather & cool environment. Good food at reasonable price. Lots of place to visit, like tea plantation, cactus valley, rose centre, flower nursery, vegetable farm, water cress farm, organic farm, orchid farm, strawberry farm, honey bee farm, day market & night market(on Friday, Saturday & school holidays), jungle adventures....... A place not to miss, "Time Tunnel" in Brinchang, a very unique gallery which takes you back down to memory lane. Recommend to stay there 3-4 days. Would go back again.
