Aitutaki Climate
Summer in Aitutaki spans from November to March, when peak temperatures reach 28°C, and these months also experience frequent afternoon storms. From April to October, the weather is drier and slightly cooler with highs ranging from 20 to 26°C.
Getting There & Around
Aitutaki Airport has frequent flights to Rarotonga that take less than an hour. Travellers often arrive to the island as part of cruise itineraries as well.
You can get around easily by rental car, scooter or bike, and you can take a boat ride to the other Cook Islands. Taxis are pretty expensive on Aitutaki. There are travel agencies that offer holiday packages that include lagoon cruises and bus tours of the island along with airfare.
