Unfriendly and uncooperative reception senior lady staff. Grouchy and grumpy most of the time. Uncomfortable and very over used bed that sinks in when you lie on it. Room lighting is too dim and no ventilation. Carpet is very smelly and filthy. Wi-Fi signal strength is very weak and most of the time I am not able to use the internet.

I always knew that Venice will be difficult in a wheelchair. The hotl is not wheelchair firendly as there are 2 steps into the hotel, 2 further down to the lift and then 2 up to the lifts again. The porter was very keen to assist but he was not always available. The biggest problem is the lift. The lift is very small and my wheelchair fitted just through the door. I use a very narrow chair and I had to pull myself through into the lift. I had to change the room as I could not get into th bathroom as the door is to small. The room (No 264) was wheelchair friendly and the bathroom was large.
