The staff are so helpful, they really are wonderful. The beds were a bit uncomfortable. Hotel is great for tram access around Amsterdam. Would stay there again. Great value for money

Lovely bright rooms, staff very friendly and helpful. Great location, far enough away from the 'hustle and bustle of city centre' but still close to main shopping and museum area. Next time I am in Amsterdam this is where I will stay.

Excellent location, across the road from the entrance to the Concert Hall, a couple of mins from the Music Conservatory, The Van Gogh Museum and many other museums. Good advice and help from staff on how to get anywhere. Breakfast and coffee fine. Close to a number of good eating places. We would definately stay there again and hopefully also fit in a concert next time.

The bar was very small and smelled of stale cigarette smoke. Very basic facilities. Some staff appeared to be very distrusting of the English, demanding money up-front for phone and Taxi etc. A very long walk into town. Trams and traffic on the street kept us awake. Not the most enjoyable stay we've had !!
