Tidy, comfortable room. We recieved a free upgrade to a superior room. Decor was a little dated, but it was a comfortable stay with friendly service and staff.

I'll start with the good!! Nice hotel, nice rooms, great staff, and great location. Can't complain. The restaurant and bar was not bad at all. Didn't order room service so I cant comment. When we got to the hotel everything was ready to go and we didn't have to wait for our room. All-in-all this had to be the HOTTEST HOTEL EVER!! I can not believe that they actually wont install air-conditioning for the rooms. Even when I asked the front desk about it he all he could tell me was, " they didnt anticipate such a hot winter". (no excuse). Hotels should have both heat and air, maybe thats just me. I was charged TWICE for someone else's room service and upon arriving i was told that I had a 30 EURO credit per night and i still got charged for both nights we ate at the hotel (couldnt believe it). not only that but we "thought" that the breakfast was free apparently not, I drank the most expensive glass of juice ever. Overall I wouldn't waste time staying here ... advice stay at the Pullan across the street.

Very helpful staff, checking in in a very busy time was quick and efficient. Breakfast (continental) was very good. Location excellent, a short walk to Metro and station, and good shopping and restaurants all around. Would recommend this hotel.

Great location, convenient with airport shuttle stopping closeby. Just a bit overpriced though.

we booked 2 rooms nex to each other as we were 3 adults and we had requested that the staff open the interconnecting door. After numerous requests this did not take place which is annoying Location is very good ,seven 11 store opposite is very useful to get water etc

No "charm," but quite comfortable rooms, a lavish breakfast, and not too far from Rue Daguerre, one of my favorite Montparnasse streets. (Warning: they have minibar refrigerators, but it's against the rules to keep anything of yours in them! They should change that policy, since it's very convenient to buy some cheese and keep it in your room for picnics out.)

The Montparnasse is a fab hotel, really clean and the bathroom was pristine white!. The breakfast, which was included on our deal, was extensive and had something for everyone, but would have been 23 euros if we had to pay.Hotel is a 10 minute walk from the metro, we used montparnasse because the onward connections were better and its direct to gare de nord. On the downside the safe didnt work and wasnt fixed during our stay, but a problem with the bathroom basin was fixed really fast. The bedding and towels were crisp and spotless and the room temperature was easily controlled. There wasnt a lot of wardrobe space but it would be fine for a long weekend. All in all i would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone.

The Receptionist that booked us (unfortunately I did not take a note of her name) was extremely pleasant and very efficient. Our short stay at the hotel was a very pleasant experience. The level of comfort exceeded our expectations, especially in a city like Paris.

I highly recommend this hotel. I payed 735 euros for 5 nights, including hot buffet breakfast during Christmas 2008 period. The room was Ok, not very big, not too small and very clean. The breakfast was excellent. Some of the rooms had a magnificent view of Eiffel tower. The personnel was very pleasant and the Hot buffet delicious, even though We had to queue every day before entering the room where breakfast was served. The room was very quiet and we never heard anything from next door guests. The hotel is exactly as depicted in the web site, modern, periodically renovated and in a convenient location very near to the following metro stations: Gaite and Montparnasse Bienvenue. There are also many connections through bus, to Paris town, or Orly and CDG airports (hotel is 5 minutes away from Gare Montparnasse). I characterise this hotel as a best value for money option and I should definitely stay there again.

Staff very friendly and helpful. They made us feel very welcome and helped us in every way. The hotel is a bit pricey - epecially the drinks in the bar.
