I would not advise any one to stay at this hotel. It is a very old hotel ,never been refurbished and terrible. The brakefast is terrible and the desk servise very rude.

Hotel very nice and close to shops etc. Tour office in hotel lobby was excellent, we had a private driver for 3 days who made us feel like part of the family at rates that were much cheaper than organised tours. Tours included the Dead Sea and surrounding areas, a day trip to Petra and the Rose Red City and a complete tour of Amman city and then to the airport. This small family business made our trip to Jordan unforgettable.

Good location to the north bus station, a longer distance to the city centre. Good selection for breakfast and clean room.

This hotel is very nice and it has very polite staff. You won't regret it. It is also close to the center of the city and other attractions. By taxi takes 10 minutes and costs about $2.

I enjoyed my stay. This hotel is in a very good position for shopping and access to the downtown area. The reception staff are extremely courteous and helpful with any advice you need. The other hotel staff are also courteous and helpful re taxi and bus information. Our rooms were service each day and little extras were appreciated.

When you arrive at the Airport in Jordan, exchange your country currency for Dinar and half Dinar, before you leave the Customs Area. For tipping. You will receive a Trip Ticket if you get a Taxi at the Airport; it has a price list on the back keep it for negotiating pricing later for trips. You are not required to tip the Taxi as he receives a 5 Dinar bonus from the Hotel. The Hotel Staff was helpful and vary friendly; they fixed any problems quickly (a bad light fixture in the bathroom. The Hotel is older but comfortable, A Safeway with a bank inside with ATM’s and a KFC if you don’t want to eat at the Hotel, a 5 minute walk. Learn the money so you won’t over pay. I will stay at the Commodore Hotel again.
