Comfort Suites Anchorage International Airport Guest Reviews
Toured the city. The hotel is not located on International Airport Drive as it is avertised. It is on a side road that is next to International Airport Drive. If using a GPS you will never find it. They need to put their correct address in their advertisements. Also We came in on the Alaska Railroad and could not get shuttle service to the hotel they only service the airport. It cost $20 plus tip to get there.

Very nice hotel and extremely friendly staff! Beds were very comfortable. Not really "location friendly"...too many u-turns to get where you need to go. Otherwise, would definitely recommend to friends.

The hotel is a very nice property and the room is beautiful. However, the service was not good. We called for a shuttle from the airport 3 times before someone answered. Then, we waited over 25 min. for the shuttle. The hotel is one of the closest to the airport and a 5 min. drive max. Upon arrival, our flight arrived from the lower 48 at 10 am. The employee stated their policy was a 3 p.m. check-in. We asked if there was any chance of getting in early and they just kept saying not until 3. Another employee checked with housekeeping and did find us a room available after only a 45 min. wait in the lobby. We were traveling through to Bush Alaska. We noticed the hotel had freezers and asked to use them to store the meat we were taking with us. We were told they were only for fish. We asked another personnel later and again were told it was only for fish. Really? Does it matter what the guest is storing in the freezer? We ended up having to take our frozen items to the airport and pay to store them there. The hotel employee (who we believe is the manager) mentioned being new to Alaska. Perhaps she needs to get a better understanding of the needs of Alaskan customers so she can be more flexible in meeting the needs of the guest. Many other hotels in Anchorage have excellent customer service and will do what it takes to help guests in their stay and in their travels.
