We picked this hotel because we were waiting for family to arrive from around the US to carpool together to another city. The shuttle was free, the breakfast was free (waffles, cereal, eggs, pancakes, fruit) and the staff was friendly. They even watched our bags for a few hours after checkout. One thing strange are the square pillows. On our King bed, the pillows were square, like someone cut your average pillow in half to save money. Dont expect any pens or paper in the room, i had to do some work and ran to the front desk to grab a pen. I'd compare this to the Embassy suites--its just a tiny step down from it. The amenities @ embassy suites are of higher quality (they give you toothbursh, shampoo, razor, if you forget) and the breakfast is very comparable, except you have someone cooking @ embassy. The comfort inn was entirely a pre-cooked buffet. We basically slept, ate breakfast and didn't spend much time at the hotel. Its worth staying again, if we could get a lower rate.

We have stayed at this motel several times. This time we were on our way North to Seattle. This motel is perfectly located off I-205. It is a little noisy if you are in a room on the back side as the train goes through behind the motel quite often. It does not keep us from staying there but be aware or ask for a front side room. Elmer's Restaurant is very close by.

The good: The room was clean and in goor repair. The bed was reasonably comfortable. The bad: The lobby smelled like an ashtray. The ugly: When calling for directions from I-5 southbound (WA) got a complete airhead on the phone. Due to her lack of basic customer service ability, we took the wrong road and added almost an hour to our trip. How can you be qualified to run the front desk at a hotel if you cannot give very basic directions for a popular route?
