Location
Conveniently located, Sovereign Hill Comfort Inn is a few minutes from the city centre. Other attractions near the inn are St. Patrick's Cathedral and the Eureka Centre.

We stayed in January 2012. We had requested a twin room but were given a double room - this was soon rectified. The room was small but clean. The furnishings were quite modern and in good repair. The hotel/motel is right next to Sovereign Hill, so if you want to do that the location is perfect, but it's about a 10 min drive from the centre of Ballarat. Breakfast is a disappointing small packet of cereal with a bit of orange juice and toast. Very basic. The carpark is a bit awkward. Overall I thought it was overpriced for what it was.

We were in the lodge actually inside the Sovereign Hill complex which was very convenient for our visit there and the night time light and laser Eureka show. The room was warm, clean, comfortable and a good size. We were very happy with all aspects and the people at reception were friendly and helpful. The accommodation and entry packages are great. All our entry tickets were waiting for us at reception.

We found the room spacious. The staff we encounted really enjoyed working at this establishment. We would rebook here in the near future.

The rooms were very clean, the staff very helpful and willing to go to extra effort to make sure my stay was great. The location was perfect if going to Sovereign Hill as you enter from the hotel grounds. Would definitely recommend this hotel.
