Comfort Inn Nashville Downtown Guest Reviews
The rooms needed deep down cleaning and the bathroom especially was not clean. The soap holder had layers of soap scum on it and it was black around the edges. The room was very noisy most of the night.

To start with, the hotel is in walk distance however you would not prefer walking after 7 PM alone from downtown to hotel as a woman, because there are clubs around...The staff in the main desk do not know the area, somehow! When you Google, you see that there are running buses, and they say taxi is the only way to go, not even walk-able. I walked to downtown with high heels in 20 mins when carrying a heavy bag with a laptop in it. The other day, when I asked them to call a taxi, they did not call apparently for 10 mins. I waited like 15-20 mins and than started to walk. On the 3rd day, the taxi they called tried to charge me twice of what I paid when coming to hotel from downtown, and we took the exact same way! The comfort! aaa... Let me say this, the hotel was falling apart! the balconies were broken and there is no other way to go to your room. There were screaming people all around at 1AM, 2 AM, 3 AM and 4 AM. The breakfast staff came at 5 AM and they started to shout too while shutting all the doors and cabins. Indeed, I could not sleep even 1 sec for the whole day. When I complain about it, the guy at info desk did not even listen but he agreed with changing my room in the evening, however did not left a note to the next staff. So they argued with me like 10 mins for not changing my room with the excuse of they are fully booked. But I changed my room. However, the hotel is right on the Interstate highway, so as you can guess they were honking trucks all night long, but since I was tired for 2 days non-sleep, I blacked out (slept) for a couple of hours in my 2nd room. My 1st room was not clean at all, too. The 2nd was ok. The pillows are like chair cushion so they are faaar away from being comfortable. I will say this, I am not a complaining person in general at all, but this hotel was nothing but a torture with my own money. Do not stay there unless you have a very serious budget problem.

Nice hotel, nice location, very nice breakfast - especially the nice lady who set it up. However, there was construction (cement work) on the exterior hallways. We were not able to use the elevator at check-in to get to our room. The next night, it was the same thing. They were closed off and working on these walkways until almost 6 p.m.! Bathroom was small. Only one chair for the side table.
