Great experience staying underground, very quiet & comfortable. Owners & staff very helpful & friendly. Price may seem high but the running costs of these isolated places are huge so if we want to have these facilities we must be prepared to pay for them. Coober Pedy is fascinating , a must see.

Very nicely designed hotel, making good and interesting use of old mine shafts, etc. Rooms well equipped and cosy lighting and decorations. Best of all is the warm and outgoing hospitality of three generations of the family running the hotel. It was almost like visiting their home.

Establishment has not yet established a full service restaurant. These means travel of about 2km to eat a full meal and establishment is unlicenced. Other facilities are unique and excellent.

A good experience with the room. Receptionist was fantastic - bright and bubbly and helpful with local knowledge. Breakfast was rather expensive for very little choice.
