Staff members were friendly, and offered us help, guidance and directions at every opportunity. The rooms were clean and spotless. The views are not great, but the city centre location is excellent to explore central Birmingham from. Unfortunately breakfast was not include in the price. They charged £5pp for continental and £7pp for traditional (English) breakfast. Despite the nice breakfast room, the breakfast food/service itself was quite poor compared to what you're paying for it. Definitely not 4-star service here. Parking at nearby Holloway Car Park is £4 for 24 hours. Make sure you ask reception for a token to get the discounted price.

Very unhappy that your company recommended this hotel Needs refurbishment and not appropriate for single woman as hotel located near red light district in Birmingham. Breakfast was awful.

Reception and bar areas are old fashioned and a bit run down but the rooms are newly decorated and perfectly clean while the hotels prices and central location Birminghanm are perfect.

Very close to New Street station and all amenities. Excellent for Congress centre (10 minute walk). Very basic accomodation, small room, poor bathroom and shower. Bar is downmarket. Excellent value for money, including breakfast.

The hotel is small, but well placed alongside New Street railway station, close to the major shopping area. The bedrooms were, admittedly, small, but perfectly adequate. Staff were all friendly and helpful with directions. Breakfast was SUPERB - cooked to order and served piping hot, rather than pre-cooked and left to cool on a buffet. It was also provided on an 'all you can eat' basis and really kick-started the day. I will definitely stay there again when visiting Birmingham.
