Too far away from tube station or overground - a good mile and a half from Finchley Central or East Finchley stations. Not good if you are going to a wedding and are wearing heels! ( Luckily it wasn't raining) Taxis are non-existent. Cannot leave your car in Hotel carpark after you have checked out (even for a fee when there were plenty of spaces) Not helpful if you are told otherwise before you come! We wanted to do this as we had a wedding on the Saturday morning and arrived Friday night. Room cold, but hotel staff managed to turn up electric storage heater. Only one back pillow on the king size bed! (Why only one when two of you want to sit up and have a cup of tea in bed?) Tea absolutely vile and no milk in supposedly sealed pots( one pot contained water!) Big room, and fairly clean. Stain on the carpet and rather shabby around bath in the bathroom but not bad. Who uses shower CURTAINS these days? Please put in a sliding door or solid screen! Poor lighting. BUT probably value for money. Breakfast was average, and buffet style. Basic and OK without being downright shabby. The tube distance was the main issue- we were given to believe the hotel was much nearer.
