Comfort Hotel City Centre Gothenburg reviews

Good for the price, excellent location to us, staffs are pretty helpful,too.

The hotel is in fact situated in an industrial area by the river. It takes about 15 - 20 minutes to walk to the city centre/ Nordstan. It was very quiet at night and we dared not return to the hotel late. The buffet breakfast was not good. The scrambled egg was the worst I ever had. The sausages were okay.

I reserved a room for 2 people and what I got was a single room with single bad and a materace on the floor :-(

Clean, nice hotel near the harbour. You have to walk 5 minutes to the city center. We liked the breakfast, both cold and hot dishes. You could make your own waffles and have tea or coffee for free, until 8 pm! The beds were very comfortable.

Extremely friendly staff - I had a triple room with my two boys, on a Bed and Breakfast basis. However, the staff made my two boys waffles / crepes in the evening, and there was always hot drinks available. I would stay here again.

Got a last minute deal on this hotel for July 1, 2007. The train from Oslo arrived late and it took a while to find the hotel, otherwise no problems. Would liked to have spent a little more time there, as the accommodation was good.

We were able to walk from the Railway station to Hotel within 15 minutes. Close to some of the main Pedestrian streets and Squares. George was friendly and welcoming

It was a bit tricky to park the car but we should have booked a parking place in advance...

I was positively surprised by how friendly and professional the staff treated me. I can truly recommend a stay there.

A nice little hotel perfect for a long weekend. The room was clean, fresh and tidy. The bathroom had a heated towel rail which was handy. Breakfast was simple and plentiful. What i liked was that you were able to help yourself to tea and coffee t any time of the day or night often accompanied with a snack. The location is not brilliant in terms of it being a 15 - 20 minute walk from the bus and train station but i would say location isn't everything. I certainly believe i got value for money especially in such an expensive city as Goteborg! Plenty of literature available for tourists to pick up and decide what they were going to do/where they were going to go etc. I would stay there again unless my budget allowed me to stay in a dearer hotel closer to the likes of the main shopping areas.

Me and my wife we were extremely surprised with the hotel. The room was great, very modern. We were offered pankakes upon our arrival. We definetly go back there if we ever go back to Gothemburg.

Not flashy but a good hotel within easy walking distance of most things. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was excellent.
