Built on a quiet square, surrounded by trees, the Comfort Hotel Auberge is located in the very heart of Berlin, just 50 steps away from the world famous department store, KaDeWe. The hotel is 15 minutes away from the exhibition centre, and 10 minutes from the Alexander Platz.

Comfort Hotel Auberge Guest Reviews
This is an excellent choice for siteseeing in Berlin. The hop on-hop off bus is a bit over a block away. A subway and bus stop within a block. Restaurants are plentiful. Banks also. It's a block from the Ka-Da-We department store, a destination in itself. Safe, clean neighborhoods all arount the hotel. And the hotel itself was FANTASTIC! Clean, appears recently refurbished inside and out. The rooms are European small, but very comfortable. The most remarkable part is the staff. All shifts were smiling and willing to offer to help in any way needed. The buffet breakfast was much more than expected at a very reasonable price. Breakfast staff made you feel like family, not customers. I cannot imagine staying anywhere else when we return to Berlin.

Very close to shopping streets and metro. Couldn't have asked for better, location-wise. The first room I was offered was a quiet little room at the back of the hotel on the 4th floor. It had a very offensive smell in the toilet. When I returned to the room after a day's sight-seeing, the smell had turned into a stink, and I asked if I could be moved. I was moved to a larger room on the first floor (Room 11) at the front of the hotel. It was right beside the breakfast room and the clattering of cups & plates started at 6am every morning. Unbelievable... But I was afraid to complain again! Other than that, the hotel was perfect! i'd recommend a room on maybe the second or third floor.
