This hotel is a great place to relax. Close to the Esplanade. Bit of a walk to the City Centre but then Cairns is always a beautiful place for a walk. Staff are friendly and helpful. Great breakfast provided. Room is clean and comfortable. Only wish the pool could be open longer otherwise would highly recommend.

Hotel was fine,a bit of a stroll into the city. The staff seem pretty blunt but this is the case with owner operators. On the whole not a bad stay for a few days, wouldn't recommend for family's.

The staff at this hotel were exceptionally friendly. Great for first impressions. Breakfast is cheap and delicious. Great location on the Esplanade away from the main centre which made it quiet. Lovely pool but wish it could have stayed open longer in the evenings. Very enjoyable.

On arrival at the hotel there was a delay in Rates To Go passing on our booking. The staff member at the desk, (a grumpy fellow), was adamant that he had "never heard of Rates To Go" and we had no booking. Then made us access the internet (at our own cost) and still would not accept our booking after we had printed it for him. He was very rude and miserable to us. If it had not been dark, and getting late, we would have gone elsewhere. The hotel was ok after all but needs a bit of TLC. Staff there need a refresher course in customer relations... Not a happy stay for us
