Loved staying here - cool and comfortable hotel, helpful and friendly staff. Close enough to walk to plenty of restaurants. Free parking close to our room. Beautiful gardens, pool and views from the grounds. Hotels are often impersonal - this one is chic, individual and with a great history. I really hope to visit again one day!

It is a nicely renovated old hotel located in downtown Palm Springs. It has a beautiful courtyard with a swimming pool and an outdoor fireplace. The room was nice and the bedding was great. My wife is considering tracing down the vendor. Free parking is available around the hotel. The staff has been very helpful during our stay. The hotel has a character that is just not there in large chain hotels. The restaurant is pricey, but it overlooks the courtyard.

I went for a much-needed rest & the Palms provided everything I needed: a very comfortable room, quiet, discreet staff, idyllic gardens, wonderful pool & jacuzzi. As an early riser, I particularly appreciated the 7 am coffee & newspaper , which I enjoyed while gazing at the spectacular mountains. The hotel is within easy walking distance of downtown & of a couple of exceptional restaurants: Cheeky's for breakfast, Birba for dinner. No pool toys allowed, & no boisterous guests! Wonderful!

I would pay no more than $120 a night for this hotel. The grounds were clean and very well maintained and the pool/restraunt area was nice The room was clean, but it was small and old and some of the fixtures did not work properly (i.e. the lights and switches were not working properly, the shower head was not working properly, & the toilet seat wouldn't stay up) and why would one need a down comforter in Palm Springs? Plus our room was right on a busy street and there was pronounced traffic noise all night. It was a nice hotel, but nothing spectacular, and definately not a resort that I would pay $300 plus a night for a room. I personally would not recommend this hotel at the prices they were charging.

THE BEST SECRET IN PALM SPRINGS. I ENCOURAGE ANYONE WHO WANTS TO RELAX AND NEVER HAVE TO LEAVE TO GO TO THIS SECRET GARDEN. DRINKS, FOOD, SERVIVE ON POINT. [...] THE BEST HOSTS EVER. EVEN WHEN IT COMES TO GETTING WATER FOR YOUR FOUR LEGGED FRIEND. YOU MUST GO ONCE AND YOU WILL THEN GO FOR A LIFETIME
