Nice little hotel near the station. Nothing wow, but I was on my own for a conference in Trieste, and it was perfect: confortable single bedrooms, a good but simple continental buffet breakfast, and freindly english-speaking staff with advice on where to go in town, a short walk away.

easy to find, very good location, very reasonable pizza restaurant out of hotel doors, left, 100yards to square, look opposite. Walk down the one way street to the far end a and tur left to get to sea front, 10mins walk. Back to hotel, staff friendly, breakfast adequate.
