Located next to the Pacific Ocean, just 40 Miles South of San Jose California, the Coastview Inn Santa Cruz is easily reachable from the San Jose Airport and very close to the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk, the West Coast's last remaining seaside amusement park. The property is also close to the pedestrian-friendly streets that are filled with exquisite shops and galleries as well as outdoor bistros and sidewalk musicians.

Hotel was clean & inviting..., had everthing you need for weekend visit to Santa Cruz, the staff was friendly & accommodating...and the price was right! I will be back

This place was a disappointment. The room itself was average, but the motel does not serve breakfast until 8 am. No coffee before then, either. No coffee in the room because as the on-duty manager said previous customers spilled coffee on the rug. We had a good breakfast at a restaurant on the wharf but, of course, we had to pay for it. Parking was also somewhat awkward here

You can not ask for a better location if you are going to be spending your time at the boardwalk ammusement park. The hotel is directly across the street from it. There are lots of good places to eat within a very short walking distance. The staff was very nice and helpful. We arrived about three hours early and our room was not ready, nor did we expect it to be. The guy at the desk gave us a hotel parking pass so we could utilize the hotel parking lot before we were supposed to check in. That was very helpful and saved us money and time trying to find a parking spot until we could check in. If we had to find any faults with the hotel, it would have to be the pillows. They were flat and tired. We did not ask for better ones, but I am sure they would have tried to help us out. This is not a 5 star hotel, and it was never advertised as such. Overall we thought it was an excellent value for the cost.

its anice place to stay if you travel with kids the beach its right in front . the room s were clean and big also ,and the pier its right there
