5th avn, Rockefeller Plaza, Times Square, Central Park.... This is indeed the optimum location during a stay In NY. The hotel had a good standard, restaurants outdoor service on 7th floor had an unexpected nice view and the staff was helpfull and kind. This is indeed a hotel to recommend and return to at our next visit to NY.

This hotel is in a great location and the rooms are small, modern and well maintained, but set up for the business traveller with a good work space. Bar and lounge require business type attire which is a nuisance for the tourist. A safe would be a useful addition.

The room was just right for two. Only used the room to sleep & clean up. I would stay there again for the price.

Overall, this hotel met our needs well. Its a nice enough place to stay in the city for the holidays. It is literally steps from the Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree. Our complaint was with the breakfast buffet at the hotel's in-house restaurant. All of the food options in the buffet were nearly empty and the staff was slow to respond to the demand for more food. This is the kind of service I would expect from a complimentary breakfast, not one that turned out to be the most expensive meal of our trip. Overall, this hotel is great for a budget, but do not rely on its in house food services.

I was only in town for one night, so I didn't get to do much, but the room was a great value for the price. The location was fantastic, and the room was very clean. When I got there, no key cards were able to be made, but the staff was able to remember me for when I came back to get it. If I need a hotel in NYC again, I would definitely use that one again.

Lovely room, clean facilities, access to a free internet and no nickle and diming for minor amenities like ice. Desk personnel offered booklets and map of area for siteseeing. Minor complaint: no printer on their computer.

The Location was excellent walking distance to Times square and across the street from the Rockerfella center. The room was very clean, modern and a resonable size. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Several resturants close by so there is a good selection of types and prices. Could not fault our stay.

The service was disinterested, not helpful. I unknowingly left something at the front desk, was frantic looking for it, when I called down the staff said "yes, it is down here", it have been so helpful if they called up & let me know they had it. There were no usual frills such as "we hope you enjoyed your stay"; It is a clean, well located, well priced accomodation.

If you stay in the 2nd floor, the view is 'awesome'- all you can see is the shadow from buildings around, no light at all. so ask for higher floor. The room is quite clean but lower floor, u can smell some kind of like chinese food, not really pleasant. The shower was old but is ok. The bathroom was clean and provided basic things like shampoo, soap but no tooth brush and tooth paste The location is really good to get to rockefeller center (just cross the road), time suqare 9 blocks away, and to the great 5th avenue for shopping. The staff werent really friendly but helpful if you do ask.

I liked this hotel, reminded me of Europe with the contemporary furnishings and the room was smaller than the average hotel rooms in the US, but was more than big enough and very clean. I would recommend this hotel if your looking to stay in mid-town. Great location if you want to be able to walk to Times Sq. and Central Park.

Amazing location, hotel and rooms are quite compact but probably what you would expect for such a central location. You're right by 5th Avenue and the amazing shops- we were blown away by the location! Good service but the front desk are always very busy. Gym facilities are good.
