The first day we got there we were very turned off by the lack of customer service. I've always heard great things about club med but was very turned off by the lack of cleanliness in our un-renovated room. We asked to have our room changed after spending the first night in a room that smelt worse then a mens locker room. When I went to the front desk the next morning with a scratchy throat, itchy eyes and a headache, I asked the manager if we could have another room because our room was unsanitary and may have some type of mold. The manager argued with me telling me there was no way it could be mold and it must have been the humity. I've lived in Florida my whole life and have never know humity to have such a harsh stench. After a lenghty conversation she finally agreed to switch our room to another un-renovated room that was a little more sanitary. The second day we were there my ipad got stolen. The staff is over worked and delivers sub par service. The spa is located in an old renovated hotel room and the cost far outweighs the relaxing service.I've traveled the world and this experience was by far the worst all inclusive experence I've ever experienced. The only good aspect was this resort is extremely family oriented!!!

Club Med Sandpiper is GREAT; we have been to 6 other Club Meds (in the Caribbean and Mexico) and were sceptical that you could really have the Club Med experience in Florida; well, you can; they have a beautiful isolated property on an isolated bay, and once you get there you forget about the rest of the world; you eat, drink, relax, boat, dance, party, swim and forget about the cares of the real world; the staff is great, the Chef de Village is great; the food is really good (sorry, can't say great, but it's hard to have great food in an buffet setting - but i could live the rest of my life on their dark chocolate bread); will definitely be going back
