Don't expect to receive transfers from the 'flyer', this hotel is not serviced by them, so for this reason the location is low. The beach sand is not as good as the islands. Pizza was oily and expensive. Internet access was extremely slow to the point of not usable.

Stayed only one night, after a taxi ride down a darken dirt track arrived. Room was clean looking. If you get up in the middle of the night and turn the light on expect to see cockroaches. Overall cheap place to stay, amenities are ok. Staff are mainly Indian, Gift shop only takes cash.

Arriving on Friday 18th of February 2012 it was raining heavily and the grounds were flooded things did not look to promising for our 8 day stay. What was to be a plus the dirt road was now an obstacle. Saturday the 19th was not much better so we got a taxi into Nadi and bought two umbrellas . With these in hand we had a brief tour of Nadi in particular the Hindu Temple which was having a 10 day festival. Sunday the 20th the weather cleared and we were able to appreciate the beautiful setting of Club Fiji Resort . We also discovered that we could walk along the beach to other resorts including the travelers Beach Resort which offers excellent and reasonable priced meals. Smugglers Cove which has some reasonable shows. A walk along the Beach From Club Fiji works up an appetite, but the beach in parts is littered with broken glass. Overall we were extremely impressed with Club Fiji and regarded it as extremely good value. The staff were excellent and the room was always well maintained. The big disappointment was on our last night a show was scheduled and then cancelled at the last minute , and everyone that asked was given a different explanation. It would have been easier to state that the show would only go ahead if there were a certain amount of confirmed bookings for dinner. We would recommend this resort to anyone that wanted some time to themselves and would stay there again ourselves.

It's just ok. The staff seems poorly trained so dont expect a high level of service. Also expect to pay extra for typical amenities such as shuttle, coffee creamer, air conditioning for your room, etc.

This hotel is out of the way down a dirt road, everything is a fee, $18 per day for air conditioning, $20 more a day for a view, the dinner menu is limited and very pricey, 3 tacos on taco Monday was $36, the shells were stale and no extra toppings, (sour cream / guacamole), $3 to use the phone at the front desk for local calls, bug zappers in the room was an extra charge, $2 to play a game of pool on the wore out table in the bar, the windows in your room is only screens covered by wood shutters "no glass" so your neighbors here everything that is going on in your room and vice verse, there is no T.V. in the rooms, there is no phone, not even one to call the front desk, there is no internet in the room, although there is wireless up by the bar and 1 shared computer to use. All in all if given a free trip to Fiji I would not go, Bali or Bangkok where a MUCH better value and more fun.......If I hear "we are on Fiji Time" once more I may slit my wrists.....it's an excuse to be as slow a possible and get around to serving you when they felt like getting around to it. Oh and the so called complementary shuttle to the shopping center was $5 each, and the continental breakfast was non-existent, an egg breakfast was $17 and if you want a glass of powered orange juice its another $5.

Checked out after 1st night as had enormous cockroach running across my bed while trying to sleep so couldn't bear to stay 2nd night. Pleasant surroundings but cleanliness of room poor. Food & drinks poor & receptionist didn't even apologise when told of the reasons for checking out early. Would not stay there again

Very bad management , hardly ever there. Reception not able to answer easy questions. Food very poor and very slow, wine list poor and worst Margarita I have ever had. Suggest a manager with some experience to be there most of time and spend some time training staff. Best person there was the night security man who helped with bags [unasked] and sorted Hotel shuttle to airport at 6.15 am. [Reception requested payment previous day for $15, I thought Hotel shuttlels were free] Will not be back !

Was just an overnight stay to catch an early flight home - in hindsight should have stayed at a hotel closer to airport with complentary airport shuttles as by the time you pay for a taxi/shuttle to resort and back to airport makes for reasonably expensive stay. Rooms a bit dated but clean. Did wonder what we were going to with the horrible delapidated muddy dirty drive into resort but resort surroundings were pleasant and tidy.

Always stay here for 1 or 2 nights on our way to an island, happy to have accommodation on the beach in Nadi. Free airport pick up a bonus.

I would stay there again for a short stay but I would take the Mortein with me. Everything is pretty good for the price, just a few cockies, mozzies and sandflies

A good cheap stay. Food expensive for what it is and compared to eating in Nadi - but the resort is far from the main road so by the time you get a taxi, better to eat at the resort. Forget swimming in Nadi Bay - filthy! But the pool is great.

Very beautiful spot on the main island just 10 mins from the airport. Very friendly staff, but not always effective at problem solving. Some little things are neglected which would have made our short stay fabulous - no soap in the bathroom, you had to buy milk (even on the first night after a late arrival), my air con did not work, and i was offered no alternative. But would i stay there again - absolutely. And if they sharpen up on those little details, it will get top rating.
