very nice fully furnished apartment with all you need (washing machine, dishwasher etc) and a nice roomy balcony. only downside was that there was only one lift working, which meant it was much better to use the staircase if you wanted to get to your room within 5-10 minutes.

Good Place, clean accommodations, friendly staff. Good not swim after 8pm as the pool did not have lights.

I travel to Canberra occasionally for work, and tried this place for the first time for 3 nights. I like being able to cook my own meals, and the kitchen had everything I needed - except for oil which would have been nice, but I haven't found a hotel that provides this yet! The cleaning staff put the dishwasher on for me each morning, which was a nice help :) I had the buffet breakfast one morning for $20 (prebooked prcie), but compared to overseas experiences I'm yet to find a buffet that compares - I had to ask for a made-to-order omelette, there wasn't an egg chef stand. There was some fresh fruit, bacon, cereal also. The location was perfect for business in the city centre, a quick 5 minute cab or a 15 minute walk to the civic shopping mall. It was very quiet at night, my room faced onto the street. The room had been renovated recently, and still had the new carpet smell. As did the corridors. As others have mentioned, the heating unit is in the lounge only, and the unit backs on to wall to the bedroom.... some heat reached the bedroom, but in minus 5 temp overnight I kept it on all night and was warm (something I hate to do because it dries me out). There were extra wool blankets I used as well, but I'm a cold person :). The shower in the bathroom gave a ton of pressure and heat, loved it :) There was a new washer and dryer but I didn't use these
