The Clift is a great hotel. It's hip, in a great location, and rooms are nice. I love the bath amenities there. If you are into the night scene, the bar downstairs is a great spot to hang out.

if you want to party this is a good hotel. if youre looking for luxury, this is not the hotel for you.

I paid for a loft suite - room had neither loft nor was it a suite! Service sucked. Hookers in bar area. Overall - terrible.

Tacky decor in the rooms would best describe the place.. tiny rooms as in any hotel of this vintage, but way overpriced in my opinion. Lots of young folks there... like a frat house and the fire alarm went off at 2AM... not somewhere I will go back to. Couple that with the fact that WIFI is not provided free of charge at this price point.. ridiculous!

Was expecting more given good reviews I have heard from others, but room was small and not particularly appealing. On the plus side, the bed was very comfortable and the shower head was ideal, which are not insubstantial plusses. Overall, I'd give it a 3.5 out of 5, but was expecting 4+.
