we stayed two nights the first night friday was great nice and qute but on sat nite the neighbors above us were loud and partying till i called at around 1am. then the next door nieghbors started up i think they just moved from upstairs. i had to call the front desk again they were screaming and out on the balcony talking on their phones loud. I asked them to take it back inside and then security showed up and igot a little quiter but they were loud till around 3am.

The Clarion was worth the price. I had read some reviews about the area it was located but what city doesn't have their bad parts? And even then, it's really not that bad. It's across from the Naval base, so that view was pretty cool. The room was always clean, and my bed was comfortable. The room have a nice size television, fridge, microwave, iron and coffee makers. Aside from that they also have washers and dryers available that I actually had to use. Thank you to the staff for making my stay an outstanding one.

Currently me and my wife went to San Diego for the fourth of july weekend 2011 and we stayed on the ninth floor of this hotel. The staff was relatively inexperienced or at least acted unknowledgable and they were not friendly at all. They have a run down bar on the first floor and it was a ghost town. The room was fairly nice and the bed was awesome and had anything you could ask for as far as amenaties. The Air Conditioning was weak in our room, so luckily it wasnt hot that weekend. Everything else was nice about the hotel. The thing that stood out the most was room service. The food they sent up was amazing! I ordered a steak and the meal was huge, the only down side to that is after me and my wife ordered food, it came out to $75 dollars because of the tax and 20% charge for room service fee. Overall, I would advise you to either step it up and fork out the extra money for a nicer hotel or look for a cheaper place save some money and deal with it for the night.
