Clarion Hotel Seattle Airport Guest Reviews
The hotel is well kept and very clean. The desk clerk is friendly and professional. The price is right. But one of the first things we notice in the room is a little sign telling how much our credit card will be charged if we walk off with any of the hotel property, such as alarm clock, coffee maker or ironing board. This leads us to suspect that people have been ripping off this place a lot. And maybe that is why there is no spare blanket in the room and very little covering the bed. This became a problem only after we realized that the room's very loud heating unit recycled approximately every 22 seconds -- a guaranteed sleep preventer. The only option was to turn off the unit, and this meant a very cold night under a very thin cover. Our only remedy would have been to sleep in most of our clothes, which we rejected, so sleep was elusive. Next time we'll try a different place.

I had a day and night to spend in Seattle after visiting family in Olympia, and chose the hotel based on others' reviews. They were right on. I was able to check in early, get rid of my rental car, and take the light rail which is across the parking lot, to downtown. I came back before dark and decided to eat at the hotel. The meal was very good. Room was just fine, shuttle to the airport runs 24/7 with no reservations needed. Would definitely stay here again.

When I read some of the reviews here I was a bit worried that this hotel might turn out to be a dump. Well, I am happy to report that our stay was a fun one. Yes, the hotel is sort of old and the hallways sort of smell a bit. This hotel need a bit of work in many areas however, if you are looking for a place to stay the night and rest after along drive then this is the place for you. You see, many people want a 5 star luxury hotels for very little money. mmm that rarely happens. Hey, the place was clean, The beds were very very nice. I rested like a baby. Love their pillows. Their Wifi is free. The computers at the Business/computer room need defragmenting but they still work. The staff was okay and friendly. The hotel is about 200 feet from the Seattle Light Rail. All and all, We had fun with our stay.

Horrible experience. The desk person could not tell me how much I was going to be charged for the room,[...] I will not be using the Clarion chain for any of my travel needs in the future. Also, the room was wornm for a $100+ room, the TV very small (30 inches)?, the air conditioner was a window variety, and we were solicited by a bum in the parking lot while packing the car the next morning. I nearly had to get violent with him to leave my family alone. All in all, a very poor experience.

Accommodating staff, very comfy bed, quiet, close to the airport, helpful shuttle drivers. The restaurant was not open when posted, but for a one-night airport stopover, this was just right.
