The Clarion San Francisco Airport is conveniently located just one mile from San Francisco International Airport and minutes from downtown San Francisco and Silicon Valley. Nearby attractions include the Bay Meadows Racetrack, Cow Palace, Candlestick Park, Paramount's Great America and San Jose.

Clarion Hotel San Francisco Airport Guest Reviews
I have read previous reviews that have stated the Clarion 'has seen better days' and this is probably true. However that should not detract from the fact that for the price we paid we were more than satisfied. A large clean room, good facilities, excellent breakfast, friendly staff. Easy access to Airport, Caltrain etc for transport to San Francisco.

Seriously in need of updating! Stains on the chaise and drapes in the room; frayed lobby sofas; no hair dryer provided. The introduction paragraph drastically over-plays its reality. Good breakfast icluded, though.

1st experience with Clarion will be my last. For someone who is not that picky(I've stayed in youth hostels all over the world), this hotel fell below my generous standards. While the lobby looks OK, the rest of the hotel looks dingy, dirty, and out-dated. Room was musty and not cleaned very well. Couldn't adjust room temp as the register didn't work at all. Internet didn't work either. The buffet breakfast was about the worst I have ever experienced. I got there at 8am and every empty table had not been cleared or cleaned. I had to sit at the bar in between dirty dishes on both side of me. The buffet options were depleted and in disaray. They were out of plates, bowls, juice to name a few. It was obvious that they made no effort to maintain or replenish anything. The only person I saw working was the lady coming around asking for our breakfast coupons. Overall, very bad experience and would not recommend staying there

The hotel was fine, except for the phone charges. They were outrageous. We made 2 calls to Hong Kong. The first call we got a recording and hung up immediately for that call we were charged $30. The 2nd call was 7 minutes and we were charged $117.00. We did not expect it to be cheap but this is totally unreasonable. It was more than we paid for the room! If it were not for this outrageous charge I would have rated the hotel better.
