Clarion Hotel Mansion Inn Sacramento Guest Reviews
With the forced air heater rumbling on every 10-15 minutes you might as well sleep in your car...on the freeway. Everything else just fine; great mattress! Someone needs to upgrade the HVAC to modern standards, quiet hydronic heating retrofit is desperately needed as well as new bathroom ventilation..phew. Don't stay here if you're a light sleeper.

From the moment we arrived, I could tell this was going to be a problem. The staff was watching tv in the lounge instead of attending the front desk. The hotel has very limited parking. The room, had a bathroom so cramped you could not really get to the toilet jammed in the corner between the tiny shower stall. There was a large open area outside the bathroom that they should have utilized for more bathroom space. The matress was hard and uncomfortable, with two twin box springs under a queen mattress. The room had a large sliding glass door that you can not lock and the downtown area of Sacramento has become much more run down and dangerous. Overall a horrible place to stay.

We went to a Rivercats game on out way to travel to other places, so it was a one night stay...that was to only reason we stayed. Stains and burns on the carpet, none of the light switches turned on a light, our deadbolt was broken, and the maids were LOUD at 8:00 in the morning, chatting in front of our room! Although it was a large room, not worth the creepy level. Also, the attendant at the front desk never cracked a smile when I checked in.
