Clarion Hotel Dublin City
4 out of 5

Very nice room with very comfortable double bed. Bath/shower and toiletries good standard. Leisure centre is well equipped with swimming pool, jacuzzi, steam room and sauna. My only criticism is that there is no facility to lock one's locker. (Unless you happen to travel around with a padlock). Yes, there is a little safety box at reception but you cannot put your jeans and shoes in it and if they were to be stolen whilst you are in the pool the hotel take no responsibility and, travelling light, you would be on the streets of Dublin in your underpants looking for new clothes!

Very friendly personnel, goodvsports facility. Breakfast was good not great and not cheap, room was large but lacked in having a fridge. Shower in the morning was sometimes lukewarm. Overall a good hotel, with great people. Some roughness at the edges but definitely recommended.

The location and proximity to the 02 was fantastic, the hotel was clean, the rooms great, however when we returned after the concert there was only the little bar near the foyer open as the main Kudos bar had a 'private function'. There was neither adequate seating or effecient bar staff to cope with the influx after the concert. I waited over 30 mins to be served a drink !!!! needless to say after one we decided not to hang around and ordered a bottle of wine and take away pizza to the room which was really nice.

Really good hotel. Primarily a business hotel and a 10-15 min walk from the action but several good restaurants and pubs within 5min walk. Good sized rooms and good staff. Would recommend and stay there again

We were attending a concert in the Point and the Clarion IFSC is perfectly suited for this. It is the nearest hotel and the staff are curteous, efficiant, and professional. Rooms were relaxing, quiet and an oasis in the city.

Beautiful hotel on the banks of the river Liffey , close to all of Dublin's main attractions ( about a 5-10 minute walk ).Excellent facilities , spacious rooms , friendly , efficient service and fantastic breakfast choices. Predominantly a buisness hotel but also suitable for the more discerning customer . A word of warning though - the traffic around this area is exceedingly busy , so take care , and enjoy your stay .
