Location
The Clarion Collection Hotel Wellington is conveniently located in the downtown, close to the oldest open-air museum. The Skansen open-air museum is situated on the island of Djurgarden in the middle of Stockholm, and boasts a zoo, aquarium, gardens and several annual festivals. In addition, the Royal Ballet and the Royal Opera are just minutes away.

A mid-sized, unassuming hotel of a good standard in a pleasant and quiet location. Hotels in Stockholm don't come cheap, and even with the reservation service, this still seemed a little pricey. But the receptionist was pleasant and professional on my arrival; the evening buffet very welcome given the quiet location in this pleasant part of the city - and the fact that it was very wet outside. My room was quiet and well-appointed, offering a dressing gown and slippers, an ironing board and trouser press in addition to a comfortable - if small - single bed. (Interestingly these benefits were absent in a higher grade hotel that I stayed in a week later.) A pleasant overnight stay.

Small and nice hotel. For a weekend trip to Stockholm its good choice. Slightly expenisive.

Surprisingly nice rooms with a bit more space than I had expected. A bit of a problem finding it as taxi drivers don't know the location as a Clarion - may have changed chain recently or I should select taxi drivers more carefully.
