Very friendly staff and in a good location. Rooms could be cleaner.

The staff were charming, and the general feeling once within the doors was of an old world welcome, so different from the big impersonal chain hotels I usually encounter. The one downside is its location, halfway between the main station and the ferry terminal, with the result that this is a potentially scary area. We'd stay again, though.

The hotel went out of its way to make me feel welcome. I would be happy to stay there again if I went back to Oslo.
