Clarion Collection Hotel Atlantic Sandefjord Guest Reviews
The hotel is heavily decked out in a whale hunting theme, there is no mistaking which country you are in, unlike some other bland hotels.

Superb hotel, excellent location, 100 yards from the railway and bus stations. A free evening buffet dinner is offered Mon-Sat which lessens the price somewhat. Would recommend this hotel to anyone-but if one doesn't like whaling go somewhere else, the hotel is literaly plastered with it.

Nice hotell at the city center. Clean, nice, small hotell. Easy to recomend. Sandefjord was a whaling city in the old days, and it is many desplays in the hotell from that periode.

We booked a 3 night stay at this hotel and were suprised to find that the hotel offered complementary breakfast, evening meal, waffles at 3.00pm and coffee/tea/soft drinks throughout the day. A real plus in a country such as Norway! The hotel also had a sauna, sunbed and Turkish bath - unfortunately the Turkish steam room was out of action for a couple of days. The staff were very accomodating. Norway is proud of it's whaling history - if this upsets you don't stay at this hotel as it has a whaling theme!

Having booked Bed/Breakfast, I was pleasantly surprised to be offered a complimentary Hot Meal between 6pm and 9pm each evening of my stay.
