Great location by the waterfront, airport bus stops just across the corner. Staff was very helpful and they also serve buffet dinner in the evening, included in the room charge.

This is a good quality hotel, our room overlooked the quayside and had a view to some distant islands. The room was large, bright (2 large windows affording panoramic views) clean with a very comfortable bed. But it was also like visiting a family friend. Guests are encouraged to help themselves to free coffee and fresh fruit all day and the icing on the cake is "Waffle time." Each afternoon between 1500 - 1800 guests can help themselves to the freshly made waffles which again are free, but only if they make them themselves, then they can sit outside in the hotels "Pavement Cafe" area sipping their coffee and eating their limitless supply of waffles whilst watching the people, boats and life gently drifting past. In addition there is a hot and cold buffet served daily from 1800 - 2100 which provides sufficient sustenance to keep even a big eater happy, once more this is available free to guests.

The hotel was located next door to several bars and restaurants, although it was not loud in the evenings. It was our first trip to Haugesund and whilst we were only there for one day it was very nice. The staff at the hotel were very accommodating and let us drink our own champagne in their gentleman's room. To make your own pancakes was excellent! I would highly recommend this hotel if you are staying in Haugesund.
