Short one night stay to begin drive down PCH. Extra friendly staff who accommodated extremely late check in. Cute little breakfast basket outside your door in the morning.

I enjoyed this hotel very much, the price I paid was on the low side for the area. The room was spacious,comfortable and clean. Breakfast was delivered on time. Nothing to complain about. Easy walk to downtown or beach. If I complained about one thing, it would be that the walk back to the hotel is all up hill! Lol.

Carmel Oaks is a quaint little hotel within easy walking distance to downtown. A really good restaurant (Forge in the Forest) just a few yards down the street. Although my husband hates to shop I had a wonderful time exercizing his credit card in the unique shops. Of course I let him carry home the purchases. The 8:30 am delivery of a bountiful breakfast picknick basket contained so much food that we were able to have a light lunch as well.

Great shops and restaurants nearby! Great access to the beach. The sunsets were awesome! Point Lobos was great!the breakfast basket was basic but ok.

Visit family. No. A reasonable price and a clean place with parking is all we wanted. Better location than previous hotel.
