Wonderful hotel handy to the station and the lake, nice staff, good room, excellent free internet, drinks and comfortable surroudings

We enjoyed a 5 night visit to Zurich and pleasantly surprised that we would have to struggle to be critical of the hotel. The food was delicious and the staff courteous and friendly. The location is great...easy access for buses, a taxi but minutes away and about a 15 minute walk to the train. I would recommend and will return.

Nice hotel in a quiet location less than 10 minutes walk to the old town and lake. Comfortable and spacious rooms. Excellent friendly service from helpful staff. My only adverse comments are: - the bar / restaurant is small and not particularly attractive. - lift is tiny.

Front desk service was wonderful, and breakfast staff was very solicitous. We enjoyed our stay very much and will recommend the Tifenau to our friends.
