Clarendon In Katoomba (The) Guest Reviews
The night duty manager (upon arrival) was very friendly and provided us with the eating guide when we were browsing the brochures section for places to eat. Location is pretty good, close enough to the 3 Sisters for us. Unfortunately the service and the location was marred by 1) it was definitely not very clean, 2) there were a few bugs, which my wife hated, and 3) no air conditioning, which made it a very hot stay in Katoomba.

For the price this motel type room is good if you are looking at staying for one night. I stayed in a Guesthouse room with own ensuite and brass bed. The only thing that I have to criticise is the brass bed - it was not very long and very easy to touch the end of the bed! Breakfast buffet was included in the price and was pretty good.

Stayed in a motel type room, which was basic but modern and immacutely clean -which was important to me, had a really comfy bed, which came with an electric blanket - which went down really well as it was freezing! lovely big powerful shower that we didnt want to get out of. Motel settings made it private - we came and went as we pleased. Top notch breakfast the next morning, fry or pancakes.....exactly what we were looking for, very pleased with our stay, thank you!
