If you want to be central to everything this is the place.Trams round corner , Victoria market 5 mins away. Clean modern rooms with comfy beds and staff that are very friendly and helpful .Couldn't ask for more.

Great service from each staff member, which helped make up for the tiny room and offsite parking. Pretty good location if you're happy to walk a few blocks for food, shopping or entertainment. Easy access from out of town.

We were at City Tempo for 5 nights. Despite having a late check in at 1am, the concierge was very helpful and polite. Also directed us to nearby conveninence store and Maccas. Room was good size for us as a couple. Clean, neat and basic. Was very handy to have a kitchen facilities in the room so we could take away food and reheat and have breakfast. Location was superb. Close to free city circle tram and also walking distances to markets, train station, lygon street, CBD (when the free service has ended). Staff were very helpful and polite with booking out shuttle to airport, help with car hire and directions. We managed to get the special rate of $129/night promo going on so couldnt complain much. Room was cleaned everyday. Will definitely stay there again when next in Melbourne. Thank you to the staff for making our stay so enjoyable!

We asked for a wheelchair accessible room. When we arrived at 11pm the 'accessible' room we were given did not have a wheelchair accessible bathroom. The concierge took me to a few other 'accessible' rooms on other floors and they were also not accessible. He then phone the manager and discovered that real accessible rooms were only on the lower floors and luckily one was available. Not impressed by the stuff up but the concierge handled it well. Piece of advice - don't call rooms accessible that can't fit a wheelchair into the bathroom. Apart from that, nice apartment. Location was good, ended up walking into the heart of the city - it was a nice walk.
