City Inn Hotel Budapest Guest Reviews
Room was quite, clean & well laid out - only downside was no shower curtain thus it was easy to flood the floor. Service was good - staff friendly and attentive. Breakfast selection was poor - cold coffee (from urn), rotting fruit and stale cereals. A convenient location but next to major construction works.

Though situated in a quiet situation not far from metro M3 Ferenc krt. and Pest turist attractions it is for the time beeing somewhat disturbed by the developement of a nearby new City Centre. In this moment it is in the "knocking-down-old building" stage, may be to be followed by a long building-up period.

There is a lot of building work going on in the area which some people may find annoying, although it didn't interfere with our stay at all. Breakfast isn't particularly good quality. Good location, only 5 minutes walk from metro and tram lines.

Take a kettle with you, this hotel is pleasent but basic. City Inn is situated just out of town but it didn't bother us as the public transport is so good. There is an awesome club directly opposite the hotel, that you would never even know was there. Breakfast is not all that but for a bed for the night, the hotel is perfect: cheap and cheerful.

Hotel close to a metro station that takes you to the Central Station, Center, in less than 10 min. We stayed 3 nights, but they did not change the bed covers , they cleaned the room daily though and gave us new towels. The breakfast is OK, for an Eastern European country. There is not too much choice. The personell in the breakfast room is very sober, and seem unfriendly. They stay as almost guardians, doing nothing (no refill, so make sure you get there on time), but jut stare at the guests. Well, it is something to get used to. You can escape this sphere by eating in the garden. We had good sunny weather in late Sept. and we did that.
