Location
The Oberland is five hundred metres from the Bahnhof West railway and for guests with their own car the A8 autoroute is close by making excursions to the nearby towns of Grindlewald and the Ballenberg museum within easy reach.
Rooms
The one hundred and ninety one rooms at the Oberland have en suite bathrooms and also feature hairdryer, cable TV and safe. Superior and executive rooms also feature coffee makers and air conditioning.
Restaurant
The hotel has three restaurants, the Restaurant Chalet serving typical hearty cuisine, the Ristorante Mercato which features Italian specialities and the Spice of India, as the name suggests an Indian restaurant.
General
The City Hotel Oberland Interlaken is a comfortable and well placed hotel. Guests will appreciate the proximity to the city centre and to the countryside where there are all manner of activities are available. Reception staff are always happy to help guests with information on how to reach some of the sights or arrange tours, and the hotel bars are a place to relax after a long day.

great location. short distance walk from west station

My wife and I ate dinner at the restaurant in this hotel. We ordered fondue, which tasted like rubbing alcohol. Our waitress was not friendly and non existent, granted I know they don't work for tips like in the US, but 1.25 hours into the meal, we were wondering if she would ever show up again. Worst food and restaurant experience yet. Note: We loved the food and service we received over the past 2 weeks at other restaurants in Switzerland, included others in Interloken, this place was absolutely horrible. We had other fondue at half the price that tasted incredibly better from a different restaurant.

Good Location.... very close to Interlaken West Station. The check in staff was very efficient.

Clean, good location, great breakfast If free WI-FI provided, it will be perfect place for staying in Linterlaken !! (currently a prepaid card for wireless internet needs to be purchased)
