30 second walk from Aldgate East tube station, which is itself only one stop from Liverpool st. Hotel was clean and fairly modern. located at the bottom end of brick lane. A bit of early morning noise from traffic so probably best to ask for a room to the rear of the hotel. have stayed before and will again as only a few stops to Upton Park. My 'single' room had a double & 2 single beds so good value for groups!!

The bar constantly plays very loud music of the kind only teenagers can endure for long. Since you think twice about walking the streets of that neighbourhood in the evening, as a single adult you are confined to the room. My view from the room was the site of a fire that the locals apparently use as a rubbish dump. The room was large, but with three beds, one of which double, for one person, the potential comfort of space is wasted. WIFI costs a charge which is old fashioned.

We enjoyed our stay very much, it provides ok value for the money. The neighborhood is a little dicey, but it's close to a Tube stop so it works out all right.

Friendly staff, good location, acceptable rate. One of the best for the price range with respect to London standards. I was not disappointed. I will consider this hotel again for my next London trip.

Basic level of service but a very good deal providing all the necessities. Location is convenient for an overnighter, just a few minutes walk from an underground station but not immediately close to anything much of interest. Immediate locality is good for Bangla Deshi restaurants, supermarket and banks, but greater variety of shopping available over near Liverpool Street station, which isn't so far away. Excellent value for the price
