We booked two apartments, had no idea they would be in separate locations which meant our group was split up. Reception staff friendly but room very average, reasonable clean but had a musty smell when you entered apartment and bathroom so small you could basically shower, go to the loo and blow dry your hair all at the same time!

Our experience was not a good one,we paid $1500 for a week, the room is dirty, carpet full of stains the sofa bed was broken and we had a week of sleeping terribly, the kitchen is not well equiped, the bathroom a total disaster, when showering all the water goes all over the bathroom floor, the toilet seat is a total disgrace all stained(due for a new one)we had to line it up with toilet paper when we needed to use the toilet.Over all i would not recommend this place unless it get renovated

You get what you pay for. The room was very clean and had everything we needed. Bathroom needs to be updated and a better hot water system. Had parking which was handy. Once there we didn't need the car.

The bedrooms were confortable but not tv in there, the door looked like someone tried to break it a little bit scary but at the end not too bad experience.

This accommodation was quite suitable for our stay . We would ask for a room away from the street as it was quite noisy. Also , car parking was quite cramped.

The pictures of a 4 bed room on your website were grossly misleading. When we arrived at our room in Alfred St, namely the Treasury Room, we were left rather disappointed, to be polite. The poxy kitchen was right in your face in the bedroom, come living area. My children had a double bed which was separated from our bed by an outdated cupboard come wardrobe.the bathroom was dirty and very small. There was no exhaust fan, so after 4 showers you could not stay in the bathroom. The bathroom was dirty and extremely small. There was no exhaust fan, so after 4 showers you could not stay in the bathroom. At night the bathroom door rattled so a towel had to be placed over the door so it could shut tight. When staff were asked if the towels would be changed daily the response was that this was not the practice. However, on your website where City Edge Serviced Apartments is advertised there was no mention of this. Overwhelmingly inadequate.

The room we had was at the front of the building, it had a lot of light coming through the bedroom window. This made it difficult to sleep. Otherwise the room had everything we needed, and was spacious.

Great location, close to everything, quite city location. Stayed at Gipps St Apartments, older style apartment. No hair dryer, vacuum would not suck, stinking laundry under bathroom sink. Stayed 10 nights and room was not serviced at all. Spoke with management on check out and only got excuses, was not in th mood to argue. The room was supposed to be serviced on day 7 as stated before booking. Stood for 10 minutes at check in while 2 staff argued with another customer, not a good start. Otherwise ok

As a country person City Edge provided me with a clean comfortable apartment to stay. It is close to major Hospitals (which I needed) sporting facilities and the CBD. Will recommend them to my friends

The only issue was not knowing that we had to walk to another City edge Appartment location, streets away, once we booked in. We also weren't told we had to walk the key back to book out.

The room was very clean, the location was quite good (near to city but fairly quiet), but a few small things were annoying like a moving shower screen with nothing to lock onto so it would swing in against you while showering, and an electric kettle too big to fit under the tap so it had to be filled from a cup. Also the toilet didn't flush too well and the TV was old with bad reception, but overall it was quite okay if you are on a budget.

We were very pleased with this budget accommodation. We walked to the city a number of times, but could have easily used the public transport nearby. We managed to get a park outside our unit for the 3 days that we stayed there. The kitchenette was adequate for breakfast, but it would have been difficult to cook a meal on the portable hotplates.

Lacked basic kitchen facilities such as a jug, small sharp knife and small saucepan. No rubish bags apart fro the initial one provided. No washup liquid or brush. No coasters or place mats. No tea towel. (a towel provided was inappropriate for the job).

Pleasant for purpose. Albert street traffic noise could affect a light sleeper. Good facilities nearby
