this is a great really budget hotel: could be hot in summer as no aircon therefore leaving the window open etc, great simple rooftop kitchen! the shared bathrooms were fine - i never saw anyone else! also could be loud if you overlooked little collins street - with the bars and late night revellers! perfect for our four night city stay a lovely, picturesque stroll up to queens st to our seminar. the staff were really helpful and friendly - i had dropped my suitcase off a day before and one of the night managers feared i may not get to reception by 9.30pm and had taken my case upstairs for me and left a key and phoned me - just made it! plus great $25 exit parking deal with the big carpark a few metres away.

The staff were very helpful at this Hotel. My room was clean and tidy though the walls are slightly thin so you could sometimes hear neighbour noise. Being in the City there is a lot of street noise but this is a common factor if you want to stay in the heart of the City. The shared bathrooms and toilets were fine but could of done with a little more cleaning!!!
