Location
Located in the picturesque old town, the Bahnhof hotel is surrounded by important historical buildings and landmarks such as the Untertorbrucke, the oldest bridge in Berne, and the Bundeshaus, or parliament buildings. It is also ideally located for the main railway station 700m away.
Rooms
Guest rooms at the Bahnhof Hotel all feature windows which have been treated to reduce noise pollution, have wooden parquet floors, satellite TV and mini bar. The hotel's modern and fresh decor gives the rooms a fresh and light feel.
Restaurant

OK hotel in central location.

The staff was very very helpful and the location was excellent. If we return to Bern Switzerland in the future we would stay in the hotel again.

One of the best hotels so far considering the value for money ratio. It is very clean, nice and cozy. The staff is so dscreet you do not even feel it. It is a very quiet place where you could easily spend a lovely time with your pair. The location is outstanding as it is only two minutes walk from the main rairoad station.

The room was in bad shape (TV did not work, lamp broken, etc.). Breakfast system was bad, two kind of breakfasts served in the same place (continental versus buffet). There was a lady with bad manners telling you what you could eat and what you could not. Very disapponting and unpleasant..

The breakfast included in the price is a very limited one: one piece of bread, jam and coffee or tea. The hotel calls it a continental breakfast. The buffet breakfast is available at extra cost. Roadworks in front of the hotel causes some inconvenience. You can not reach the hotel by car. But the location in itself is perfect: just in the heart of the city.
