Cititel Express Kota Kinabalu Hotel Guest Reviews
This hotel is located close to shops, restaurants and only a 5 minute walk to the waterfront. The open-air seafood restaurants are nearby. Rooms are smallish but modern and clean with good bed & shower. Check-in was efficient and staff friendly. If you plan to visit Mt Kinabalu, a 10-minute walk from hotel brings you to a taxi stand where many 7-seater people movers provide cheap & easy transport to the entrance of the National Park. Just look for the sign that says "RANAU". Fare was $16.00 per person but be prepared to wait until the cab is filled before departing. These cabs also pick up fares on way back to Kota Kinabalu.

Exceptionally clean rooms and near-perfect location. My only qualm with the hotel is the small size of the rooms, but the comfort of the beds and good size shower made up for a good choice when in KK. Also, the eco-friendly water dispensers on each floor help eliminate plastic bottle waste from complimentary water in rooms. Would stay again when in KK!

Although the room was small, for a one night's stay it was well worth the price and also the comfort. Hope they will maintain the standard.

The room and bed is too small. There are no window in the room. The price is too high.
