We stayed at hotel for 3nights,our first night experience on a Sunday not was a nightmare, hardly got any sleep with a nightclub in full swing until the early hours ,the noise was amazing, even with us being on the 7th floor you could still hear it,would never stay again

Parking will cost you $28.00 for every 24 hours. The drapes and curtains behind were dirty and the cords did not work to close them. The sofa had stains on it. The TV didn't work. The knob of the shower fell off in my hand when I went to use it. The towels had holes in them and they were marked. Definitely would not stay here or reccommend to anyone. There are plenty of real 4 star hotels in Melbourne to stay at but not this one.

Staff very impersonal and don't even make eye contact as you walk through reception. Nightclub next door extremely noisy until 3.30am each night, which made it impossible to sleep. When we asked to change to a room on the other side of the hotel we were told we should've known it was going to be noisy and they unsympathetically charged us an $80 upgrade fee to move for the remaining 2 nights. This meant the hotel was no longer value for money. Soap and hair blocked the plughole in the bath/shower and the taps fell off when you turned them on. Do yourselves a favour, spend the extra $20 a night and book a better hotel!

Parking was terrible and couldn't be explained by the staff properly. They tried to charge us for things from the minibar that were not used by us (I assume from the previous guest). The main chair was broken and couldn't be sat on. There were globes blown. There were no curtains, just blinds, so daylight and nightlight flooded the room.

On arrival we found out that we had to pay $22.00 for parking over our already $155.00. for one night in a deluxe twin room. The room: TV didn't work, drapes could not close and were in need of repair and cleaning. Shower hot tap fell off into the bath as soon as I touched it. Hot water not hot at all. Towel with dirty marks and holes. Needless to say I would definitely not reccomment this hotel to anyone. There are plenty of hotel in Melbourne that would be much better for less dollars.

On arrival staff not very friendly, tried to charge us for breakfast even though breakfast was complimentary with the reservation, then they could not find the breakfast vouchers. Checked the contents of the mini bar there were two items missing,we informed reception, these items were not replaced during our two night stay. Arrived back to our room on the second night to find we still had dirty cups and the tea, coffee and milk had not been replenished. The buffet breakfast (all you can eat) at the cafe next door is excellent.

In Thursday, Friday and Saturday, the room is like a part of the club. extremely noisy and cannot sleep until 3-5 am. Really horrible experiences. but other days are fine. Location is perfect!

Great location, handy to everything in Melbourne. Helpful staff - just remember if you are returning after 9pm the night club has security at the front door so you need to use the rear door. Hot buffet breakfast and late checkout were included in our price. Only part that needs work is the bathroom with cracked sink and grouting needs work but everything was clean and tidy and we weren't too bothered by the nightclub noise. Would definitely go back. Walked up to the markets, movies, shops etc.

Great spot! Fantastic and helpful service (particularly the cafe/gift shop staff), cosy room, comfortable and clean, not the newest. but at a very good price, with a beautiful free breakfast! It was but much better than I expected. I was extremely pleased - Even without views and with the night club noises. Great place! Would definitely stay again! Only thing to make note on: quite dated television (but this is shown) and no DVD player. My partner and i loved it, we'd definitely stay there again!

This hotel was ideally positioned. It was close to most things. The reception staff were preoccupied most of the time yo simply greet or farewell us . The cleaning staff however, were lovely.

Apart from this hotel being in a good location there was nothng else good about it. Starting from the hallway that had dirty splash marks down the walls and flickering lights, the room itself was not too bad until you look closely, the thin piece of material they called a blanket was stained, the bed was extremely uncomfortable and the shower sprayed everywhere. Would not stay here again.

As i was staying not to enjoy facilities, I did not even try them so please disregard any thoughts i may give. I wanted a central location and this hotel was certainly that, walking to everypart of the city was easy, it was simple clean and well located with no fuss, Parking was available next door for $22 per night, perfect for the quick no frills visit to town.

We stayed on the 7th floor and the nightclub was so loud( on about the 4th floor with mezanine roof) that we couldnt sleep. Finally were able to manage a few hours sleep after the DJ stopped the music at 5.35am. Location good and room nice however thumping loud music and everyone singing dont stay here on a Friday or Saturday night unless you are a very sound sleeper!

We chose this because it was close to Crown. We were warned about the noise from the nightclub and whilst it was audible it didn't keep us awake (7th floor) location was perfect and breakfast was very nice. Would stay there again.

Immediate check in on arrival, friendly receptionist, had enough local knowledge to assist. As others have stated - Nite Club makes some noise, but on level 6 it did not stop us going to sleep. Walking and public transport make this close to everything, shops, sporting venues, restaurants, etc., etc. Melbourne Public Transport has done away with the Met Card travel pass - a shame as this now means you have to buy a MYKI pass and estimate how much travel you will be doing, but the free tram and visitor shuttle are both very close to this hotel. We enjoyed our stay and the breakfast included a cooked buffet was good value.
