Chiswick Moran Hotel London
4 out of 5

Bed superb, decor great, very comfortable. Easy location from which to return hire car, park, and use public transport to get into London to see a show and visit Galleries etc. Wifi expensive to have in room, but available in very busy public bar. Missed a fridge in the room and laundry facilities,.also light switch only on one side of king-size bed. Generally, good value, but lots of extras charges you could incur.

On arrival at 13.30 hours room ready and able to check in. Room immaculate. Very comfortable. Car parking underground garage, perfect as the snow was falling and the temperature was freezing. Convenient for gunners bury tube station approx 100metres from hotel. Perfect for heading to Earls court and beyond. Would choose to stay here again.

A quick one night stay in Chiswick for a family get together. Have previously stayed here twice. Good size rooms, free parking. Only gripe was heating broke during the snowy season. To be fair, 5 mins after calling reception we had a small heater delivered to the room. Would always recommend for anyone staying Chiswick/Hammersmith area.

If you're looking for a London hotel with reasonably priced car parking, and don't mind being in Zone 3, this is a good choice. The location was perfect for us - really easy to get to from the M4, a choice of restaurants within walking distance (15 minutes or so), and only 5 minutes from Gunnesbury tube station. The rooms are lovely - clean, modern and comfortable. The room we were given initially was exceptionally cold, and the heating didn't seem to work properly. However when we notified reception, and they were unable to fix the problem, we were moved to another room where we had full control of the temperature. This was dealt with very efficiently.

Was greeted by pleasant reception staff and told that we had been upgraded and were checked into room number 324 which was a really lovely big room with an enormous bathroom and a king size bed. The facilities could not have been better and everything was very modern. Unfortunately the next day the heating in the room was not working but within 15 minutes of reporting the same and fan heater was brought to the room and it quickly heated everywhere up. We had drinks in the bar and the atmosphere and service was excellent. Would definately stay here again

Faultless and comfortable with everything we needed. Only thing that was missing was a fridge of some sort in the rooms. Other than that there is nothing bad to say at all. Friendly and helpful staff and a 2 minute walk from the tube.

This hotel was extremely good value. The hotel is really well presented with great facilities. The Reception staff were efficient, friendly and attentive. After check in we stopped for a bite to eat in the Hotel bar; The bar offered a good choice of drinks and food and although the service was quick, the food was good quality. We went out into London to visit the Tourist attractions. It took roughly 1/2 hour to get to anywhere which suited us fine. Its not the most centrally located hotel, however we wanted to stay somewhere that offered us a retreat from the manicness of London. I would definately recommend this hotel.

Massively over rated for a 4 star hotel in an affluent area like Chiswick. Reception staff robotic and lack personality. Restaurant staff polite but not friendly. Breakfast luke warm and over priced. Rooms are good size and clean but £3.50 for a bottle of water!?!

Paid extra for an executive room, because I was on business and needed a quiet location and some decent desk space. Room initially allocated was over looking the main road and too noisy, the second room allocated was far too small to work in (albeit the receptionist was adament it was an executive room), eventually the 3rd room allocated on the 3rd night was fit for purpose. The cleaners in the morning were noisy and talked very loudly to each other in the corridors and unless you hung out a do not disturb sign they would knock on the door at 0800hrs!

My fiance and I spent 5 nights at the Chiswick Moran and enjoyed our stay. Only gripe I had was the floor we had stayed on (6th floor) had a very bad smoke smell, but thankfully didn't creep into our room. Overall our stay was splendid and the morning staff was very helpful in explaining how to get around using the Tube and Night busses.

the chiswick moran hotel was a good london location with close access to the underground and an easy 10 to 15 minute ride to most london spots. The hotel is on the "green" District line that moves throughout city. The rooms were a little dated in style for U.S visitors but were clean and comfortable. Hotel bar and restaurant provided decent food and service but Chiswick itself proved a better find. Chiswick itself has a nice little downtown village filled with all varieties of food choices and small shops. I would stay at this hotel again.

Easy access to tube at Gunnersbury (District Line) into city (victoria) handy to Kew Gardens and to the river at Richmond. Quality hotel much enjoyed. very pricey for parking and for internet use. Would go back and well recommended

A clean and good hotel in a quiet area which is very close to the tube. If you are tourist looking for convenience, this is probably not your hotel. This was not our first time in London. We know that, at the rate we paid, we could only get a 3-star hotel in the town area. We stayed for 4 nights in September 2010 and it was very pleasant. The quality of their restaurant is also very good and price is reasonable. Our only comment is on the shower head. The hotel is using those enviromentally friendly head which limits the amount of water it releases. They had probably selected the most "friendly" shower head. We had hard time getting ourselves "cleaned" and we ended up spending much longer time in the shower!!
