Located in the western region of the Pearl River Delta in China, Zhongshan is a well-known city that perfectly blends ancient and modern China. The city is the hometown of Dr. Sun Zhongshan, also known as Sun Yat-sen, who was the leader of China’s 1911 democratic revolution. You can honour his legacy by visiting his former residence in the city, which is now a museum as well. The downtown area is vibrant with hotels, restaurants and bars, all offering visitors first-class amenities. Zhongshan is also known for its beautiful lush green gardens and parks, from the Sun Wen Memorial Park to Zimaling Park. Zhongshan Xingzhong Street also offers pretty scenery to admire. Visitors also flock to Zhongshan to relax in the local hot springs, and there are several hot spring resorts in the area. For a day of water fun, take the family to the renovated Changjiang Water World located in the Shiqi district of Zhongshan.
