The supertall skyscraper of 88 floors is a postmodern masterpiece that still pays tribute to traditional Chinese design. As a result, Jin Mao Tower is one of the most distinctive skyscrapers in the world, despite the fact that next-door neighbour Shanghai World Financial Center is slightly taller (by a mere 73.4 m).
