Getting There and Around

The closest airport is Qinhuangdao Airport, which is sometimes referred to by locals as Shanhaiguan Airport. The airport has connecting flights from Beijing, Shanghai, Xi’an, and other major Chinese cities. There is also ferry service from Dalian, China and Inchon, South Korea, as well as long-distance coaches.

Upon arriving in Qinhuangdao, travellers can take shuttles from the airport to downtown. Taxis are available, and bicycles can be hired at many major hotels.
