June is definitely the wettest month with 300 mm of rainfall, while December is the driest with only 40 mm. Summer highs in Nanchang can reach 33°C, while winter lows rarely drop below 2-3°C in January and February.
Getting There & Around
You can fly from several different Chinese cities to the Nanchang Changbei Airport, but the rail network is quite extensive, connecting the city to Beijing and Shanghai. National roads 105, 316 and 320 connect the area to all major cities in China, and there are numerous coach lines that stop in the city.
This destination is very bike friendly, but buses and taxis are quite cheap in the city.
